Enjoy birding and photography at STA 5/6.
Through a partnership with the South Florida Water Management District Hendry Glades Audubon will offer to the public, escorted driving birding trips to Stormwater Treatment Area 5 (STA-5/6) beginning at the Deer Fence Road Public Access Area. These driving trips, with frequent stops, are led by Hendry Glades Audubon volunteers. Reservations required.
Bring water and snacks. Wear closed toed shoes, hat and bring insect repellent. No dogs allowed.
Bring completed Liability Release Form. (Print and Sign)
Toilets are available. ebird submissions are posted at : Stormwater Treatment Area 5/6
This is a Free event. Donations are accepted in order to help defray Hendry Glades Audubon’s expenses to host these trips.
